Mid-Sussex BJJ student Brian wins double gold at the Brighton Open

In February, one of our students at Concept Jiu-Jitsu took on the Brighton Open as a blue belt and came home with two gold medals. Brian, who lives in Mid-Sussex, won both his weight division and the absolute weight class, with six gruelling matches along the way.
Brian trained hard for this competition, and it showed. Every match tested his skill, fitness and resilience, and he pushed through all of them. It was an outstanding performance. Shortly afterwards he was awarded his purple belt, and we couldn't be prouder of him.
You don't have to compete to train with us
Competing isn't a requirement at Concept Jiu-Jitsu. Many of our members train purely for fitness, confidence and the community. But for those who do want to test themselves, we'll help you prepare every step of the way.
